Tensión Interna is a series of paintings that explores inner polarization as a sustained condition rather than a resolved state. Repeating eye-like patterns, hooded humanoid forms, and cocoon structures appear as visual manifestations of vigilance, containment, and transformation. The work draws from unconscious imagery, recurring dreams, and observed natural processes of metamorphosis. What initially emerged as fear and resistance gradually shifted toward acceptance, allowing opposing forces—anxiety and resilience, exposure and protection—to coexist within the same visual field.
